A Year at the (Meerkat) Movies

For quite a while, if you were an Orange customer you were able to partake in “Orange Wednesdays”, which allowed 2-4-1 access to see any film you wanted. Unfortunately, this ended a while ago, and there wasn’t anything to replace it for a little bit of time. Luckily, the famous meerkat comparison website came along and took up the offers instead.

So, after having used the offer for a whole year, here’s a list of the films that we’ve been able to see (in mostly the order we saw them, but I’ve used the American 2016 film list from Wikipedia, rather than the UK release schedule). Items that are in italics and have asterisks were my favourite ones that I’ve seen:

  1. The 5th Wave
  2. Creed
  3. Zootopia (Zootropolis)**
  4. Triple 9
  5. Eddie the Eagle**
  6. Grimsby
  7. London has Fallen
  8. 10 Cloverfield Lane
  9. Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice
  10. Captain America: Civil War
  11. Eye in the Sky
  12. Bastille Day
  13. The Jungle Book
  14. The Angry Birds Movie**
  15. The Nice Guys
  16. Me Before You**
  17. Warcraft
  18. Finding Dory**
  19. Independence Day: Resurgence
  20. The Legend of Tarzan
  21. Our Kind of Traitor
  22. The Secret Life of Pets**
  23. Jason Bourne
  24. Suicide Squad**
  25. Star Trek Beyond
  26. Hell or High Water
  27. Mechanic: Resurrection
  28. Sully**
  29. Bridget Jones’s Baby**
  30. The Magnificent Seven
  31. Deepwater Horizon**
  32. The Accountant
  33. Inferno
  34. Doctor Strange
  35. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them**
  36. A Street Cat Named Bob**
  37. Rogue One**
  38. Assassins Creed
  39. Passengers**

Overall, it’s a very good offer. If you take the price of all of the cinema tickets away from the cost of the insurance, it lowers it considerably. Therefore, if you’ve bought something with them recently, I’d advise you to take advantage of the offers that are available.
